SIMULATION INFORMATION

WHO

Individuals/groups interested in participating in a Military Combat Simulation.  Attendees must be at least 18 years of age.

WHAT

Outpost will be a 4 hour Military Combat Simulation occurring over the course of one night. All participants will sign up to be on one force, designated as the MILITARY COALITION. Members of EAG's special operations group (ESOG) will be participating as simulation support and OPFOR.  One commanding officer position and one executive officer position are available for the MILITARY COALITION and will be filled on a voluntary, first register, first serve basis.  The MILITARY COALITION will be tasked with completing various duties as instructed by force command and will be deployed to achieve a number of major and minor objectives throughout the course of the simulation. Squads will be regularly scheduled to rotate duties to insure that each squad has the opportunity to experience all facets of the simulation.  EAG staff and ESOG members will be on the field at all times during the simulation.  Their role will be simulation support.  It should be stressed that these individuals will not be competing to achieve objective points.  These individuals are strictly simulation support, their role is solely enhancement of the simulation and they are not eligible to win any awards or prizes associated with the simulation.

WHEN

Outpost will be presented five times over the course of the year:

  • Saturday, 29 January, 2011, 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

  • Saturday, 26 March, 2011, 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

  • Saturday, 21 May, 2011, 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

  • Saturday, 30 July, 2011, 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

  • Saturday, 24 September, 2011, 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

All participants are encouraged to arrive as early as possible on Saturday, to in-process and meet informally with their force.  Force leaders (CO and XO) are required to do so.  All participants are also invited to attend open play on Sunday.

SAFETY

All weapons to be used during the simulation will be chronographed.  The velocity/engagement standards are as follows:

  • Three shot average of 0-300 with.25g: Targets may be engaged on full or semi auto at any distance (except point blank).

  • Three shot average of 301-350 with.25g: Targets that are farther than 25' may be engaged on full or semi auto.  Targets that are within 25' may be engaged with a single shot, below the shoulders.

  • Three shot average of 351-400 with.25g: Targets that are farther than 50' may be engaged on full or semi auto.  Targets that are within 50' may be engaged with a single shot, below the shoulders.

Our insurance requires us to tell you that facemasks with ear protection or balaclavas are required.

All goggles must meet the following requirements:

1.       Polycarbonate lens construction that meets or exceeds ANSI Z87.1 or ANSI Z80.3 standards.

2.       Goggles must set securely against your face. No gaps that a bb could pass through may be present.

Mesh goggles are not permitted due to the possibility of debris from simulated concussion grenades.

REGISTRATION

Due to popularity of our simulations and size constraints, EAG Combat Simulations is accepting a limited number of participants for each of the dates Outpost is offered.  Once these limits have been reached, all other funds received will be returned to the sender.

In lieu of the amount of time it takes to get things started, we have streamlined the registration hour. As a result; the full registration fee is required AT LEAST 2 weeks in advance (15 JANUARY 2011, 12 MARCH 2011, 07 MAY 2011, 16 JULY 2011, 10 SEPTEMBER 2011) of the simulation date to reserve a spot on the field.  Individuals who pay the full registration fee but are later unable to attend the simulation will be issued a 50% refund only if notice is given prior to 2 weeks in advance of the simulation date.  The remaining 50% of the registration fee is non-refundable.

Registration fees are Non-Transferable to another participant or to another date.

Interested parties may register by reading the simulation information, filling out the simulation registration form and paying the appropriate registration fee.   We accept cash, money orders, personal checks and debit/credit cards through PayPal online payment service.
